As a first time Mom. I went into breastfeeding with a lot of expectations and very little grace for myself. This book didn't tell me what I "should" have done it showed me every journey carry's it own truth. The honesty in these stories helped me release guilt I didn't realize I was holding onto.

I read this book to better understand what my wife went through. I didn't expect it to affect me this much. It helped me to see how invisible some of her struggle were, even to me at the time, I wish I had read this earlier.

I breastfed before and I thought "I knew it all" but these stories made me reflect on how much quickly we forget how vulnerable these early days are. Thus book doesn't glorify the struggle, but it honors it.Thank balance is rare and deeply comforting
